Louisiana Naturist Alert
Louisiana House of Representives has reintroduced Rep. Sheperds bill. The bill HB-103 now introduced
by Rep. Hardy has beent refered to the judicial comittiee. This bill makes it illegal to wear clothing that show underwear
or certain body parts. The bill was originally aimed at young people who stacked thier pants, showing thier underwear. The
wording of the bill is very general in description. This could mean any kind of clothing. Anything from a bikini
bathing suit to streach pants, lowcut blouse, or a drawing on a t-shirt. This means anyone, anywhere in Louisiana. If you
are going to the poll to vote and you have one of these garments on, you could be arrested. If you go to a public restroom
and expose your underwear or a part of your body you can be arrested. The law has a history of targeting young people but
this bill makes anyone a target. There is more important issues our law makers have to tend to and we don't need our law makers
waisting money and time on taking our freedom away. Muders kill people, someone stacking there pants dose not hurt anyone.

Louisiana Regions
As it stands at the present time Louisiana is divided by two AANR regions. The southern half is in the eastern region.
and the northern half is in the Southwest region. At the 2009 AANR National Convention a proposal was sumitted to bring
Louisiana together into one region. This will be on the AANR ballot for members to vote on in 2010. The reason for the proposal
is to stop the confusionon of several issues in the AANR office and elsewhere. This only effects Louisiana and not any other
state. North Louisiana Naturist is in favor of the Proposal and suggest that all AANR members vote "yes" on the
ballot.

Grass and weed ordinance
On Monday Feb. 09, 2009 the Morehouse parish police Jury passed the grass and weed ordinance. For Nudist
and Naturist this is a violation of property rights and the right to privicy. The police Jury dose not conseder the fact that
some people grow vegetation for Privicy, even those who are not nudist. In thier words, your rights violates thiers. Whos
property is it, is it yours or thiers?

Property Rights
Recently Bastrop, Louisiana Police Jury voted to pass a motion to make it illegal to possess a car,
or trailer in your yard that is not running. You may ask why this is a consern to nudists'. The answer is property
rights. Who owns the property that you paid for. Do you have a choice what you can do with your property. According to
one police juror there is no property rights. What he is saying is that you don't own your property, the public dose. In many
yards we post signs on our property that says Privite Property to protect what is ours and our privicy. Dose the police juror
mean that we have no right to privicy? If you put up a fence can it be declared as junk too? Some of us grow vegetation
for privicy, such as trees, bushes or wooded areas. The police jury now has a motion to make it illegal to grow grass and
bushes. Again this is a violation of property rights and in some cases a violation of privicy. How are they able to get by
with violating our rights? This happens because people either don't care enough, or too busy with thier every day lives to
go to the police Jury meetings. In many cases, people who want to do what they think is right are too quick to say they
want to keep the parish clean before they think about the fact that this effort takes away our rights. On Jan. 2, 2009
there will be a public meeting in the Police Jury meeting room (up stairs) at 5:30 on the motion to make it illegal to grow
vegetation. If the people aren't there to fight it, then the motion will become law. We must be there. Don't let the Police
Jury take away our rights.

From looking at the request from viewers of our web site we find a lot of request for more pictures. In response
to the viewers we would like to say that nudism isn't about pictures. Also pictures are often abused by people who are not
nudists'. Therefore the pictures on this web page will continue to be limited. If you are truely interested in nudism then
more or less pictures will not matter. Nudism is about the way you feel, not about what you see. Local nudist may still post
their pictures as means of communications if they so desire.

As nudist we honor and respect our service members and those who are over seas fighting for freedom for others
as well as our own freedom. We must not forget that some nudist's are service members too. Sometimes freedom is taken as something
that people fight for only when they are threatend. Our service members fight for freedom every day. If your religon or your
favorite past time is the same as most people, you don't feel threatend. However if your religon or your past time is different
from your nabors or others you may refrain from telling others about your self or hide what you do.
FREEDOM ISN'T FREE. Our service members sometimes pay for freedom with thier lives. We must also pay the price
for freedom. We must do anything we can to let freedom ring. The fight for freedom dosen't stop at shore lines or battle fronts.
The fight for freedom is at home as well as over seas. Let it be known you are a nudist. Help watch for laws that restrict
our freedom. Attend police Jury and city hall meetings. Be a advocate for nude recreation.
DON'T LET YOUR FREEDOM SLIP AWAY. Every time a new anti-nudity bill is introduced it restricts our freedom as
Americans. Our service members do thier part so lets do our part.
THANK YOU TO OUR SERVICE MEMBERS.

Stay on course, stay nude
Some nudist in rual areas sometimes may feel alone due to the fact that some nudist reserve thier privicy. NO, were
not alone, there are other nudist in the rual areas too. We have to be positive, let it be known that you are a nudist and
then you will find others. Go to AANR conventions, some times you can find others from your area there. Make your own web
page that fits your local needs. Some nudist surf the web and will send you a e-mail. Talk to your local college and see If
they would like to do a lecture on nude recreation for there phycology class. Some colleges have been sucessful in starting
there own groups. Make your own mini resort out of your back yard. Sometimes all it takes is to put up a privicy fence and
a hot tub. Rember what they said in the movies, build it and they will come.

Freedom of speach
From the past years until now Ray has keeped two flag in his yard. One was the American flag which didn't
draw much attention. The other was a flag for the American Association for Nude Recreation, which has recived a moderate amount
of attention. Most comments are positive. There are some who don't care one way or another. There has been no negetive Comments
but three flags have been stolen and one tore in half.
The local sheriffs office has told Ray that he has the right to have the flag in his yard. If there is anyone
who prefers to tear the flag down in religous or other reason, please rember that our rights protect your freedom of speach
too. If you want to put a cross in your yard you have that right. If you take other peoples rights away, then you also
endanger your rights. Many americans have fought in wars and gave there lives for the rights of others which includes your
rights. Please don't let our freedom and rights die. Don't let your freedom and rights die. Lets respect each others rights
and let freedom ring.
